Realized it last night while I'm ready for bed, this thought entered my mind: Andres Bonifacio (the Filipino Revolutionary) and Aureliano Buendia (a character in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude) were both revolutionaries who planned their wars and fought it and all of those revolutions were unsuccessful. Coincidence?

  1. I will confess right away that I don't know precise history ( my high school and college were not here) but sometimes success has to be defined. Like you can lose the battle but win the war. Sometimes failures pave the way to successes. Sometimes keeping a belief alive alone is a success.
